The spats were bought at the PFA rally bring & buy sale. They were 50 mm too narrow so I split them in two & added in 50 mm of glass fibre, filled them and then painted blue. The axles are screw tapped to retain them on the outside, the inside is held on by using longer AN aircraft bolts on the callipers and the Aluminium bracket for the brake cables hold them very nicely in place.
Longer alloy spacers were machined to space the wheel, it is a very easy to do.
I made triangular dacron skins to go over the landing gear tubes, which gives a pleasing appearance.
